Biography
|
Aaron Emerson, CCIM serves as a senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness/McCartt & Associates, specializing office leasing and investment sales. With more than nine years of commercial real estate experience, Emerson has completed more than 500 transactions valuing in excess of $150 million.
Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Emerson was with Scribcor Texas, where he worked as one of three transaction managers in charge of negotiating and manageing 1,100 leases for the Texas Government. While with Scribcor Texas, Emerson personally negotiated more than 120 leases, totaling more than 1.2 million square feet at an average savings of 20% per lease yielding a savings of of $10 million for the taxpayers of the State of Texas.
Emerson's most recent success involves the lease up and sale of the 31 story Chase Tower in downtown Amarillo. In just 2 years Emerson procured more than 50 new tenants for the Tower taking it from 62% occupied to 93% and climbing, more than doubling the value of the asset.
