With more than 35 years of brokerage and investment experience in both commercial and residential real estate, he is also active in managing his own investment real estate portfolio. McDevitt currently serves as owner and president of Loan Exchange, Inc. (LOANEX), a national company that specializes in buying, servicing, and selling of privately held notes and mortgages and other secured cash flows. He is the author and educator of the seminar titled “Working Smarter”, which teaches the use of financial calculators and how to apply “net present value” to the acquisition and disposition of real estate investments and cash flows. He was the co-founder of the Tennessee Real Estate Exchange (TREE) where he conducted monthly educational and marketing sessions for Realtors throughout the Southeast United States. McDevitt is a Real Estate Alumni of the University of Michigan (RAM), a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) and the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors (ECAR).
