With 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Mazzucca specializes in the sale of land and investment property in Central Florida’s Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, he served as the president of The Blackpoint Group where he developed shopping centers, industrial parks and affordable housing. Mazzucca was also the manager and broker of record for Newfoundland Realty where he specialized in retail leasing and land sales to major retail users. Mazzucca's extensive experience includes the development and sale of apartment complexes and affordable senior housing; the sale and management of strip shopping centers; supermarket chains site searches; and lease, management and the sale of industrial and office buildings. As a resident of Lakewood Ranch, Mazzucca is very active in the community. Currently, he is a board member of Downtown Progress Bradenton; board member of Manatee County Chamber Downtown Redevelopment Agency; member of the Sarasota and Manatee County Economic Development Agencies; member of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce; member of Tampa Bay Partnership;and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the International Council of Shopping Center. In addition, he is also a license general contractor (license pending). Mazzucca earned a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Lehigh University. He is licensed in New York and a certified public accountant. Mazzucca serves on the Leadership Committee of his church and is active in the promotion of affordable housing.
