|
Catherine E. House, FRICS, CCIM is a top producing broker with Sperry Van Ness | SV Advisors responsible for selling commercial real estate including vacant owner-user buildings, investment properties and land throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Primary product types include office, land and medical space with values ranging from $500,000 to $15 Million. She has represented such clients as US Bank, Union Bank, America California Bank, Bank of the Orient, Sterling Bank & Trust, Wells Fargo Trust Department, amongst others. She is part of the national Sperry Van Ness Asset Recovery Team.
In 2010, San Francisco Business Times named her one of the “Most Influential Women in Business in the Bay Area”. Catherine’s career in commercial real estate began in 1993 in London, England and she was recruited to this country in 2001. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Catherine was an investment broker with CB Richard Ellis’s Private Client Group in San Francisco. She has gained local recognition as an expert in development sites and commercial real estate sales in the San Francisco Bay Area. Much of her success in the real estate field can be attributed to her early years of training as a Chartered Surveyor. At Sperry Van Ness, she is currently assisting banks, receivers and bankruptcy trustees in the disposition of their troubled assets. At Sperry Van Ness she is one of the top producing brokers, ranked in the top 40 out of over 850 brokers nationally in 2011.
Catherine’s professional affiliations and accreditations include the following: Chair of Northern California RICS, Past President of CREW SF (Commercial Real Estate Women San Francisco), a Director of the San Francisco British American Business Council, a Fellow (FRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of ULI (Urban Land Institute), a CCIM Designee, a SPUR member and a licensed California Real Estate Broker. She is a frequent industry speaker on the San Francisco commercial real estate marketplace.
Catherine earned her real estate degree (BSc. Hons.) in commercial real estate at South Bank University, London. Catherine lives in San Francisco and enjoys skeet shooting, skiing and playing drums in a rock & roll band in her spare time.
