Biography
|
Carlton Dean, CCIM, is Managing Director for Sperry Van Ness. Based out of Tallahassee, FL, Carlton actively markets and sells properties throughout the entire Florida Panhandle, including South Georgia and South Alabama. Carlton has earned a reputation through volume and consistency of transactions as one of North Florida’s leading and most respected commercial real estate investment advisors. In one of the toughest years to date in commercial real estate, Carlton was the #1 producer in 2009 for Sperry Van Ness in Florida.
Carlton has over 17 years of commercial brokerage and development experience. Carlton’s real estate practice centers around investment property sales with a specific focus on quality income producing properties in the Southeast region of the United States.
A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Carlton is considered to be a recognized expert in commercial real estate brokerage, site selection, development, leasing, valuation, and investment analysis. He is among the elite 6% of commercial real estate practitioners in the U.S. to hold this designation, which requires completion of graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a specific degree of professional experience.
Carlton is a CoStar Power Broker, Commercial Realtor of the Year Award recipient, SVN Florida Top Producer, and ranks as one of the leading commercial Advisors in North Florida. He is a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee, serves on the Board of Directors for the Tallahassee Builders Association, and is an active member of the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, Florida CCIM Chapter, and the Florida Association of Realtors.
A native Floridian, Carlton resides in Tallahassee with his wife, April and their 2 sonsn, Baker (4) and Balee (1). He received his bachelor's degree in business from Florida State University, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. He is active in his church, Faith Presbyterian, and volunteers through the Sigma Chi Fraternity alumni association.
