Biography
|
Don Erler, CAI, AARE, serves as a senior advisor and real estate
auctioneer for Sperry Van Ness/Ward Commercial Group. He
belongs to the Sperry Van Ness National Accelerated Marketing
Team and is Secretary to the Board of the Asset Recovery Team
(SVN-ART.)
With more than 24 years of national commercial real estate
experience, he was awarded the prestigious Sperry Van Ness
Achiever Award his first year and again in 2007; in 2010 he
attained their Partner Circle for top national agents. Erler
earned the 2007 Exchanger of the Year Award from the Kentucky
Real Estate Exchangors. Earlier he was the Top RE/MAX Regional
Commercial Agent (1994-2001); ten-years in 100% Club, two years
in the Platinum Club; and earned the Hall of Fame in 2000.
Erler's clients includes financial institutions, state and federal
courts, legal counselors, corporations, REITS, municipalities,
school boards, other government entities, consultants and private
investors. His practice specializes in surplus dispositions,
liquidations, foreclosures, and other accelerated marketing
needs.
He holds the Certified Auctioneers Institute and Accredited
Auctioneer of Real Estate designations. Additional activity
includes: serving as the secretary/treasurer and a director of the
Kentucky Auctioneers Association; the president of the Kentucky
Real Estate Exchangors; the governor of the Auction Marketing
Institute; and member of the National Auctioneers
Institute's legislative committee.
As an avid philanthropist, Erler has supported the Children's
Miracle Network, Louisville Zoo, Jaycees, Red Cross, Cedar
Lake Lodge, March of Dimes, Executive Women International,
Mercy Academy, local churches, and school systems. He
currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Fuller Center
for Housing of Louisville, KY
Don received a Juris Doctor from the Brandeis School of Law at
the University of Louisville. He earned a bachelor's degree from
Brown University. |
