He is the Colorado Springs market expert with over 30 years of experience in multi-family brokerage, market research, and apartment ownership. Carter has sold over one-third of all 10+ unit complexes in the Colorado Springs market, more than any other firm or individual ever. His accomplishments include the largest multi-family property sale in Colorado Springs history. Carter's annual sales volume consistently ranks him as one of the top 50 producers among more than 800 brokers nationwide at Sperry Van Ness. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Carter served as senior marketing consultant for Grubb & Ellis, Hendricks & Partners and Frederick Ross/ ARA. For over 30 years, Carter has surveyed the city's quarterly rents, vacancies, and sales.
