Biography
|
Louis Benjamin Fisher, III serves as CEO and National Director of Sales to Sperry Van Ness Accelerated Marketing Co., Inc. Fisher has personally overseen and conducted 2,600 successful real estate auctions resulting in $1.5 billion plus in closed sales, encompassing 22,000 properties and assets in 46 states, as well as Mexico, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. For over 25 years, Fisher was the CEO and an owner in Fisher Auction Co., Inc. leading the firms expansion to a national auction company. Fisher also was co-founder and President of AmeriBid, LLC, an opportunity fund formed for acquiring large loan portfolio's from lenders and government sponsored entities.
Fisher is a veteran executive with more than 31 years of experience with in depth contract negotiations and sales presentations to lenders, special servicers, corporate America, public holding companies, asset managers, RTC, FDIC, FSLIC, GSA, Fannie Mae, DOD, Federal U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, multiple State Governmental Agencies and other institutional owners of real property assets and portfolios. He is a recognized public speaker, published writer and lecturer for a variety of real estate industry trade associations throughout the country and author / presenter of the SVN Auction Academy.
Fisher’s career highlights include conducting the first real estate auction in Mexico, the largest real estate bank property auction in Texas, the first major government real estate portfolio auction in Washington, D.C. and the single largest individual asset real estate auction conducted online via the Internet with 2,100 properties for $65MM.
Fisher is a three time Champion Auctioneer and has held auctioneer licenses in several U.S. states and Mexico and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association. He is also a member of the Florida Auctioneers Association, and the Auction Marketing Institute. He is a graduate of the University of Florida, as well as the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and the Certified Auctioneers Institute.
