Biography
Francis Rentz, CCIM, serves as the managing director and senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness specializing commercial properties and land in the northwest Florida market. With more than 20 years experience, he has secured numerous transactions valued at more than $100 million.

Throughout his career in commercial real estate, Rentz has provided brokerage services in a variety of capacities. Rentz has experience working with bankruptcy cases and has worked for numerous lending institutions marketing and repositioning assets. Rentz also has significant experience in site selection and investment analysis. In 2000, Rentz was recognized as the Tallahassee Commercial Broker of the year.

Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness Rentz was a founding member of SouthLand Commercial with partner Carlton Dean, CCIM. Rentz previously served as senior director with Advantis Real Estate Services Company in Tallahassee, Florida. Rentz started his career in commercial real estate at SouthGroup Properties where he was eventually promoted to vice president.

Rentz earned a degree in Real Estate and Finance from the Florida State University. Rentz holds the prestigious CCIM designation, earning him recognition as an expert in site selection, development, leasing, valuation, and investment analysis.

Rentz is a member of the CCIM Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the National and Florida Association of Realtors. Rentz is a licensed real estate broker in both Florida and Georgia.
