Biography
|
R. Lee Brushingham serves as a senior advisor with Sperry Van Ness / Commercial Realty Inc., specializing in retail and industrial client representation.
Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Brushingham spent a number of consecutive years as a Top Producer with NAI Rauch, Weaver, Norfleet, Kurtz & Company. He has been involved in transactions of virtually all types of commercial properties. His resume includes representation of numerous sellers in the multi-family, retail and office areas, focusing on new and innovative methods of marketing and presentation to maximize value for the seller. Brushingham also welcomes the challenge to locate undervalued and value-added investments that have not yet reached the market or those which present unrecognized value.
Since joining Sperry Van Ness / Commercial Realty, Brushingham has continued to further his expertise in representing the market needs of his clients. Whether the assignment is the disposition of a current asset, the acquisition of a new property or tenant/landlord leasing representation, Brushingham strives to achieve the needs of his client and feels the client’s needs are best met by the Sperry Van Ness philosophy of 50/50 sharing with all cooperating brokers.
Highlighting his diverse experience in the commercial real estate industry, Brushingham has earned the reputation for successfully negotiating difficult transactions, synergistically joining all parties together to accomplish his clients’ goals.
Brushingham received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, a doctorate’s degree from the Emory University, and completed post-graduate residency training at the University of Texas. He currently resides in Fort Lauderdale with his family and in his spare time enjoys fishing and golf.
