Biography
|
Born and Raised in Miami, Florida, Matt is fourth generation in a pioneer family that has bought and sold over 2000 acres of land in Dade County since 1928. Matt specializes in Improved Commercial Property and Land including Industrial, Office, Retail, Self Storage, Medical Office, and Multi-Family in the areas of Doral, Medley, Hialeah, Kendall, South Dade and Downtown Miami. Matt is also fluent in Spanish.
Matt is a CCIM board member and President Elect for the CCIM Miami chapter. He assists in the Real Estate Master's program at his alma mater, University of Miami (BBA '97, MBA '01), and he regularly attends real estate conferences such as the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC) RECON, State of the Ports, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Monthly Meetings, Commercial Industrial Association South Florida (CIASF), American Bankers Association, Florida Bankers Association, Globe St. Realshare and CCIM Outlook Conference to keep up with the latest market trends. He stays abreast of infrastructure projects, zoning changes and site plan reviews in Miami-Dade County and its various municipalities. He feels the information he gathers from these organizations are essential to the success of his clients.
More recently Matt has attended several premier seminars and conferences for non-performing assets and workout solutions, including CLE International's "Real Estate Restructuring" held at the Conrad December, 2009 and ICSC's "Debt Workout, Transactions & Repositioning of Distressed Assets" held at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers March 23rd, 2010. These educational events provided excellent networking opportunities, and has equipped him with the tools and resources required to facilitate the complex transactional structures of today's non-traditional marketplace.
