Biography
|
Sean Myers serves as a Senior Investment Advisor for Sperry Van Ness Florida Commercial Advisors. He began his real estate career in 1995 and has gained broad experience working with both public and private real estate investors, developers, and lenders. Myers has experience in multiple property types, including land, residential developments, office, retail, and industrial properties.
In 2002, Myers spearheaded a residential development program and assembled a pipeline of 7,800 residential lots with a final sales value estimated to exceed $300,000,000. He developed multiple relationships with leading regional and national homebuilders and established direct sales contracts (1,420 units), joint ventures (3,915 units), and lot option finance projects (2,536 units) in several Florida counties.
Current activities include: a) identification of multi-family properties and grocery-anchored retail centers that are positioned for acquisition, debt restructuring, or other work-out solutions in major markets across the Southeastern U.S. b) entitlement and development of the Turnpike Commerce Park on 1,150 acres adjacent to the S.R. 19 Exit of the Florida Turnpike in Lake County, FL.
Myers earned a Bachelors of Science from Florida State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University. He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and a graduate of the Leadership Winter Park program within the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. Myers has been an active participant in the Florida Film Festival since 1994 and a Member of the Enzian Film Society. He is Executive Producer of the Independent Drama called EYE OF THE HURRICANE. Myers lives in Winter Park, Florida with his wife, Nancy, and four daughters.
