Biography
|
B. Tucker White serves as an associate advisor for Sperry Van Ness in Winchester Virginia. While White specializes in multifamily property, his overall activities cover the broader market of commercial investments, asset accumulation, property disposition, and retail and office leasing.
Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, White entered the banking industry in Alexandria, Virginia and went on to extend his career into the state of Florida, ultimately returning to Virginia to serve as the executive vice president of The Shenandoah Valley National Bank in Winchester.
In 1991, White founded a successful mortgage brokerage company in Winchester and has since stepped back from that company, allowing his children to manage the firm into the future. With more than 20 years as a bank commercial loan officer and marketer, White is well experienced in property evaluation and investor possibilities; providing advantageous counsel to purchasers and sellers of investment grade property. His experience in providing commercial loans is invaluable in assisting both buyers and sellers in determining the true value of commercial properties.
White earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and is active in the local community, having served on the Winchester Common Council for four years. He is also a past president of the Winchester Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Winchester. He currently serves as a trustee of Shenandoah Valley Westminster-Canterbury retirement community. White is also a former vestry member and Senior Warden of Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester and continues that involvement in serving as the church Treasurer.
