Gross, JD, serves as the managing director of Sperry Van Ness Commercial Real Estate, LLC in Tampa, Florida. Gross is a licensed attorney and has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience brokering and managing the development of national and international retail, office and residential projects. Gross has extensive knowledge of the entire development process, including site acquisition, leasing, tenant representation, financing, construction and asset disposition. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Gross was the president of Gross Properties and managed the development of over one million square feet of retail space. Previously, Gross served as executive vice president of Aarmax Commercial Realty specializing in the development and disposition of free standing net lease developments and anchored retail centers. His career successes include: the development of over 2.5 million square feet of anchored retail centers, corporate real estate experience with Kmart Corporation and developing international real estate in Eastern Europe and Mexico. A representative client list includes Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Kohl's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Starbucks. Gross earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Detroit College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State. An active member of the commercial real estate industry, Gross is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Michigan Bar Association.
