Her primary responsibilities include preparing financial analyses and developing financial models to value properties and present economics to potential buyers, creating the sale packages for exclusive listings, disseminating marketing materials, managing the due diligence process, and negotiating with potential buyers. Tomany has been involved in the commercial real estate industry since 1991. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Tomany worked at the Hutensky Group in Hartford, Connecticut for 15 years where she participated in a wide range of company activities including new business development, acquisitions, dispositions, financial analysis, and industry & market research. Tomany is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a former member of the Real Estate Exchange and Site Selection Committee of Habitat for Humanity. She also served as Secretary for Hartford's Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Association from 2000 to 2002. Tomany earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford.
